Guidance Department

Guidance is defined as the help all students receive from parents, teachers, counselors, and others to assist them in making appropriate educational and career choices. Counseling is defined as the help some students receive from credentialized professionals to help them overcome personal and social problems which may interfere with learning.

HOPE Scholarships (Helping Outstanding Pupils Educationally)
HOPE is Georgia's unique scholarship and grant program that rewards students with financial assistance in degree, diploma, and certificate programs at eligible Georgia public and private colleges, universities and public technical colleges. HOPE is funded entirely by the Georgia Lottery for Education, which also funds Georgia's statewide pre-kindergarten program.
